An exciting new event, the #LoveLocal Festival is coming to Wauchope on Saturday 19th November 2022. The festival celebrates local businesses and the expertise of our local workforce while enlightening locals to the wide range of products and services available across the region.
Locals and visitors are invited to come along to Bain Park between 2pm and 6pm in the Wauchope CBD for a fun filled afternoon of food, drinks, trade stalls, music, demonstrations.
“This kind of event is so important†said Lisa McPherson, Wauchope Chamber Executive Officer.
“The festival aims to showcase local business from across the Hastings region and what they do. Attendees are encouraged to take the time and discover the many local businesses selling, creating and growing amazing things right here in our backyard.†she said.
“Often I hear people say ‘ I didn’t know we do that here’ or ‘I didn’t know I could get that locally’ †said Ms McPherson. “This is a great opportunity to be surprised by the diversity and range of products and services provided here in the Hastings.â€
“As November is also Small Business Month is a great fit to hold an event that equally supports the community and local business.â€
Business members from across the region are also invited to a ticketed luncheon onsite at 12pm on the day to develop their networks and learn more about how we can work together and strengthen our local community.
The event is offered free for businesses to attend the luncheon and to have a trade/ display site at the festival. Optional sponsorship and promotional opportunities are also available.
