What is the Creative Wauchope Festival about?
It is all about encouraging people to get creative and showcase local creatives of all kinds from around the Hastings and surrounding regions.
The 2023 Creative Wauchope Festival consists of two main events:
- Art in the Park – Rocks Ferry Reserve Sat 15 April 2023 9am-1pm
- Culinary Canvas Progressive Dinner, Wauchope CBD Thurs 20 April 2023 from 6pm

Thanks to everyone who cam down and enjoyed the day at Art in the Park at Rocks Ferry Reserve!
With the support of Bushfire Economic Recovery Funding from the New South Wales and the Australian Government the Art in the Park event is free to Creatives and the community! The family friendly event showcased local artists doing demonstrations as well as artists market with music, food, free workshops and installations!

Calling all Artists to get involved in Art in the Park!
Grab your free stall at Art in the Park – Creative Wauchope Festival 2023 on Sat 15 April 2023, 9am – 1pm at Rocks Ferry Rserve, Wauchope!
Demos, stalls, plein air artists, musicians, all creatives welcome!
All creatives are invited to register to take part in the Creative Wauchope Festival Event "Art in the Park!"
More Information for Creatives & Stall Holders
Who can attend with a stall, demo, or workshop?
Any creative! Musicians, artists, crafters, woodworkers, jewellers, dressmakers, street artists, cake makers, candlemakers, hair stylists, body painters, cosplay, quilters, knitters, – you get the idea. We will accept handmade items, original and /or reprinted local art, anything/ anyone doing creative things!!
Stalls:
- Stalls are FREE!
- If you wish to have a demonstration or hold a workshop the space is free too!
- Stallholders can simply have a display to advertise their business which may be art related
Food & Beverage stalls: Food stalls of all kinds are welcome! Coffee, cakes, wraps, burgers – all welcome just fill out the booking form – take note of power requirements and you will need your insurance and Council approval or notice of exemption.
Music: Musicians are welcome! Buskers are welcome too. Please complete the booking form with your details so we can place you around the event.
Power: Access to Power is limited and has a fee of $30 per outlet (only one appliance per outlet)
Holding a workshop or demonstration:
- You may hold a workshop and can choose if you make it ticketed with a fee and limited numbers or if it is free for people to try out during the festival. Please include this information in your booking form. If ticketed, please include a link for people to get their ticket.
- We will have two activation tents one for interactive activities such as circus skills and another with a table and chairs for sit down style workshops. These spaces are limited however if you wish to apply to use one of these spaces, please include it in your application. If these are booked out, you will need to provide your own marquee, chairs, tables, etc relevant to your workshop.
- If you are holding a demonstration at a particular time/s please include it in your booking form and we will promote it on the program for the day and / or socials.
Insurance: In the registration form you are asked to upload your current public liability insurance (Certificate of Currency). If you have any questions of issues please contact us via email on wauchopechamber@gmail.com
Set up / Access on the day: Those who have booked in via the registration form will be emailed with details of setting up and packing down, and other logistics as we get closer to the event.
