SUMMARY:Three Women from the Bush Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Three Women from the Bush – Friends\, Artists\, Activists \nVisit Wauchope Gallery from November 16th until December 10th to view this great exhibition. \nRecent works by Hastings artists Jacky Beckhurst\, Jo Davidson and Colleen Werner will be on display including drawings\, paintings\, prints and textiles. \nAll artists are long term residents of the Upper Hastings\, these three friends\, artists and activists have been inspired by our beautiful country and each other for the last 35 years\, be it through the Bagnoo print making workshop run by artist Tarpie Watts\, exhibitions at the Glasshouse in Port Macquarie and Blue Poles Byabarra\, workshops for Wauchope Arts and Aquasculpture or years of teaching art at TAFE.\nJacky Beckhurst\, Jo Davidson and Colleen Werner have witnessed and endured first hand the ravages of drought\, fire\, floods and the pandemic\, as neighbours whole heartedly committed to the preservation and protection of our Land. Their art speaks of this dedication and love of Country\, and a clear choice to live amongst and experience the natural world. \nPlease join the artists at the official opening on Sat 19th November from 11am-1.00pm with Councillor Lisa Intemann officially opening the exhibition at 11am. \nVisit the Gallery on 19th of November\, 26th of November\, 3rd of December and 10th of December to meet the artists!

DESCRIPTION:Beechwood P&C are hosting a community connection event – bringing our community together after more than two years of being apart.\nThis event is for everyone – free entry\, free entertainment\, food vans to purchase from\, children’s entertainment and activities\, and more. \nBeechwood Public School will be providing a performance at 6pm and there’s likely to be a jolly man in red show up too.\nWe are also on the look out for people who would like to come on board and support our community at this event. \nAny community groups who would like to participate in some way\, please get in touch with them – they want this event to support all community members!
