The Awards are designed to support and promote local business by highlighting innovation, customer service, leadership, sustainability and business excellence across a wide range of industries. They provide an opportunity for businesses to reflect on their achievements, build credibility, motivate teams, and increase exposure within both the local community and the wider business network.

How it worksTwo sections, one celebration
The Awards program includes two sections — Local Awards and NSW Business Chamber Aligned Awards. The Local Awards celebrate businesses and individuals within our community and are the only categories voted on by the public, giving customers and community members the chance to support and recognise their favourite local businesses.
All award entries, across both sections, are assessed by independent judges from outside the local area who do not know the businesses personally. Judging is based solely on the information provided in the application, ensuring a fair, professional and unbiased process.
Through the Local Chamber Alliance between the Wauchope Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the NSW Business Chamber, aligned Award entries feed into the NSW Business Chamber Mid Coast Regional Awards, creating valuable opportunities for local businesses to gain broader exposure. Winners at the Regional Awards progress to the State Awards later in the year — an exciting pathway to be recognised at a state level.
